After your session
- Mild redness and swelling are normal and fade within hours.
- Use sunscreen and avoid direct sun.
- Avoid hot baths, saunas, and intense exercise for 24 to 48 hours.
- Treated hair sheds gradually over 1 to 3 weeks. Shaving between sessions is fine; plucking and waxing are not.

When a device suited to your skin type is used and set up correctly, laser is a safe procedure. Common effects are temporary, such as redness and mild irritation, and changes in skin color are rare.
